Our Business is bulls… our primary business is to produce breeding bulls with genetics that improve the bottom line for our customers and the beef industry. These herd bulls are made available thru various association and livestock auctions held at various locations within the sate of Virginia. We also sell thru private treaty's as well.

Our mission at Olde Gate is to “improve the land and improve the breed” which was adopted for Summitcrest by its founders, Michael and Rosanne Owen. We strive to not only improve the quality of our ranch and our cattle but to produce and market genetics that will improve the quality and productivity of our customers’ cattle and ultimately the beef for the public at large. To achieve these goals Olde Gate feeds and harvests cattle from our production thru our own feedlot and the packer.. The performance and carcass quality data we collect as a result gives us a unique perspective and ability on how to improve our genetics, the breed and our ultimate product-beef.
